Aprons and Smocks
There’s a reason so many companies use them. Why they work:
Restaurant aprons and smocks are an easy, economical way to define a style that says you’re ready to serve. The classic restaurant apron establishes a sense of order and professionalism from the moment a customer enters.
Aprons keep workers clean and are extremely functional. They are also one of the most cost-effective uniform options.
Because aprons are so popular, it’s important to differentiate your restaurant’s apron uniforms from your competition down the street. The good news is that there are so many styles from which to choose, and they are easy to customize. Our marketing staff (link to contact us) can help you choose the style that’s best for your business and your brand. See below for different apron styles, and tips on choosing the right one.
Apron and smock styles
Bib Apron
The first choice of many restaurants, the bib apron covers the waist and the chest as it ties around the neck. Highly visible and customizable, they also offer good protection.

Bistro Apron
Long aprons that tie around the waist. The hem falls well below the knee to protect the legs. A good choice for the kitchen, or for servers to match with a tie or jacket.

Cobbler Apron
Often confused with smocks, cobbler aprons cover the front and back and tie at the side. If you desire a retro look or down-home, country feel, these are a fine option.

Waist Aprons
Very contemporary. As the name implies, these tie around the waist, with a hem that may be rounded or squared. Because they are shorter and usually have one to three pockets, they are a popular choice with servers.

Smocks
Sleeved garments which cover the whole upper body like a shirt and may hang at or just below the waist.
